Beverly Wilson is a Senior Planner for Cochise County Community Development. She is the first subdivision coordinator for Cochise County and works closely with owners, developers, contractors, engineers, County staff, and other professionals to promote and preserve high desert environment through water conservation, rainwater and gray water use, and the use of native, drought tolerant plants in Cochise County developments. Beverly earned her MLA from the University of Arizona and is a practicing landscape architect. She specializes in residential design with emphasis on hardscapes, water conservation and utilizing native plants. She guides and educates her clients on water saving strategies using both passive and active rainwater harvesting techniques, as well as gray water. Beverly strives to balance the human need for lush and colorful landscapes, while remaining mindful of limited resources, to create these beautiful garden spaces in high mountain desert.
